Location

Remote, any of the following locations: Latin America, EU, Serbia, Montenegro, Armenia, Georgia.

Our Stack

• Core: strictly typed Python, ANTLR, Polars
• UI/front-end: TS, React, Vite

What You’ll Be Doing

• Writing complex (but not complicated), maintainable, “computer science”-dense code. Alchemist mostly written in strictly typed Python and compiled to C. PEP 484 should be music to your ears, and Generics is something you swear by!
• Architecting, designing, and implementing various core components (parsers, resolver, code generation etc).
• Collaborating in a tight flat team, shoulder-to-shoulder with the CTO (who is coding as well)
• Assisting in the identification, isolation, resolution, and communication of problems within the customer environments.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a candidate who is interested in complex practical computer science problems, algorithms and compilers/transpilers. The ideal candidate should have broad interest in computer science, various technologies and have a strong desire to work in a small, flat, efficient team that moves fast and focuses on end-user (data engineer) experience.

Desired Skills and Experience

1. Significant (5+ years) professional experience in software development with an emphasis on algorithmic solutions.
2. Strong background in Python
